Crystal Metham RMT

Crystal graduated from Mohawk College massage therapy program in February of 2022 with honours and placements in chronic pain, hospice, and HIV/AIDS support and became a member of the CMTO and RMTAO in August of 2022.

Open, honest, intuitive, and knowledgeable, she uses her skills to help foster comfort, security, safety and ease, as she aids clients in reaching their health and wellness goals.

Attentive and affirming, skilled in Swedish techniques, joint mobilizations, trigger point release, fascial release, cupping, Gua Sha, and Lymphatic Drainage, Crystal offers light to deep pressure with a combination of relaxation and therapeutic approach to give a well rounded and effective treatment.

In January 2024 Crystal began her studies in Acupuncture & TCM at Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Academy in Toronto and is excited to bring this to her clients.

As an RMT, Crystal has a particular interest in advancing massage research, the lymphatic system, somatics, and the nervous system.

Crystal is particularly passionate about using massage as complementary care for those with neurodivergence and mental health concerns ( anxiety, depression, stress), and the mind-body connection!

Before becoming an RMT, she obtained a BA in Classics and English Literature from Queen’s University and went on to never use it once. Instead, she fell into the world of agriculture. She’s worked on market gardens across Ontario and BC. Consequently, Crystal loves gardening, learning about plants, herbalism, and reading!
